Things have been a little more busy then usual at Milly and Eugene. Within less then a month we will be heading down to Melbourne for our first Life Instyle Exhibition. As huge fans of the boutique trade event renowned in the world of style and design we were very excited to be selected for the August 2015 exhibition. Life Instyle is a bi-annual trade based event with a strong commitment to creativity and originality. It offers a range of up and coming businesses of homeware, giftware, lifestyle and kids products to showcase their brands to a world of opportunity with the presence of key buyers and influences on the hunt for new suppliers.
As this is our first time ever being part of the life instyle show, the next few weeks we will be spent busy rushing around packing and preparing our stock so we can bring a little of Milly and Eugene to the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. The exhibition runs from the 30th of July to the 2nd of August and our bright and colourful stall will be at stand 2305, you can check out our profile online at lifestyle.com.au. See you there!

When thinking about home interiors, like me, you might cringe at the memory of your childhood home. The best version of our family home was new green carpet and a black high-backed vinyl lounge with orange nylon-cushioned seating. My mother was proud of her modern choices and teamed up the “mod look” with a teak extender dining table and a sliding-door settee.The bright green kitchen cupboards and red laminex kitchen table and chairs were all part of the ‘70’s look.
